At Pune Event, Guests Told To Remove All Black Clothing, Shirts Included

Pune: People entered the place of Mit College in Pune, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several development projects, was asked to remove masks, socks, and in some cases even the shirt if they were black, it was possible to prevent protests.

Speaking of this problem, Commissioner Pune Pune Amitabh Gupta said instructions had been spent not to allow black flags.

“There must be some confusion because of his instructions about black flags and black pieces of cloth, not about clothes (it’s myself),” said Mr Gupta.

Mangesh Phalle’s journalist, who covered the event, said he was asked to remove his black mask with security details in the venue.

The prime minister was in town on a one-day visit where he inaugurated a stretch of metro rail, a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a Gallery dedicated to the legendary cartoonist RK Laxman and Golden Jubilee celebration from Symbiosis University.

Before the prime minister arrived at Pune this morning, Congress and NCP activists held protests allegating that PM Modi had “insulted” Maharashtra by suggesting that the state had pushed the spread of Covid-19 to other countries.

The protesters came out on the road carrying the flag and black placards, with ‘back modi’ written on it, near Alka Talkies Chowk and in other areas in the city.
