Film Making on One Piece Netflix adaptation is taking place when we talk (starting again at the end of January 2022) and Netflix has just announced the second round of members of the cast for the upcoming series. Let’s destroy who plays who!
The first set of members of the actor for the Live-Action Netflix adaptation was announced again in November 2021. There, we saw Iñaki Godoy announced as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Emily Rudd, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
Morgan Davies (they/them) will play Koby
First appeared in Chapter 2 of the One Piece Manga or Episode 1 Anime, Koby was the sea captain who was a member of the Sword of a special forces unit of marine after deflecting from Alvida Pirates.
Davies previously appeared in projects like the end and dead bad people: rose.
Ilia Isorelýs Paulino will play Alvida
Alvida first appeared in Chapter 2 manga and episode 1 of the One Piece series.
The One Piece Wiki stated Alvida (also known as iron Mace) was “the former Alvida pirate captain and the first antagonist who was met by Luffy on his way after going to the sea.”
Paulino is known for the role in the sex life of college girls and Netflix’s Me Time.
Aidan Scott will play Helmeppo
Lieutenant Commander Helmeppo is a sea officer and the son of former Marine captain “AX-HAND” Morgan. Described as thin with a distinctive cleft chin.
He first debuted in Chapter 3 of the manga and episode 2 of the anime series.
Scott is famous for his work at the point of action and between Devils.
Jeff Ward will play Buggy
Buggy The Star Clown is the Buggy Pirates captain Jeff Ward will realize in the series. This character was first introduced in chapter 9 manga and 4 anime episodes.
Wiki One Piece describes Buggy as “a slender blue-haired man with a clown-resembling appearance, to reflect his nickname. Great nose, red on his face, in fact, his nose really.”
McKinley Belcher III will play Arlong
Arlong is not introduced in the manga or anime series until later (Article 69 for used and episode 31 for the last).
Arlong is a human saw that is described as large and muscular. He is part of the Arlong pirate group and former Mobile Pirate Member.
McKinley Belcher III is known for appearing at Ozark Netflix and appearing in bird lord birds.
Vincent Regan will play Garp
Play Garp will be Vincent Regan. This character is also known as Monkey D. Garp or Garp The Fist which is a strong Marine Sea representative.
One piece Wiki describes Garp as “old man, brown, widely dressed, muscular.”
Regan is known for its appearance in the film High-Profile Troy and Zack Snyder’s 300.
