Galaxy Note will celebrate its 10th birthday in 2021, but that day unfortunately never came. There was no launch of the Galaxy Note for the first time since the original stylus-toting phablet arrived in 2011, confirmed the prophecy of disaster and marking its termination. With this year’s Galaxy S22 Ultra basically it looks like the Galaxy Note clone, it seems that the time for mobile phones that are centered on productivity that is very loved finally ended. Confirmation may have dropped, and delivered by Samsung’s top -level executives, no less. But even if the name of the Galaxy Note is effective, Samsung is not ready to bury the features that decide first.
In retrospection, the Galaxy Note is like Samsung’s rebels for the iPhone and the late Steve Jobs itself. The model is everything that is not owned by the iPhone and has all that Steve Jobs is absorbed: a very large screen – at least according to the standard at that time – and, most importantly, it uses the stylus that is trying to be removed by other smartphones. History will prove that Samsung does it properly, with many models today that read what is called a phablet from earlier. And even though the Galaxy Note is still rather unique with its S-Pen, the desire to the telephone stylus never disappear, even among some Apple fans themselves. Fortunately, the features that make up DNA that determine the Galaxy Note will not go anywhere … even if you won’t see a new Galaxy Note phone in the coming years.
RIP Galaxy Note (2011-2020)
According to Notorious Tipster @ice universe, the head of the Samsung TM Cellular Division is quoted as saying that the Galaxy Note will appear in the form of Ultra Galaxy every year. The direct implication here is that there will be no more Galaxy Note models that move forward. It also shows that the Ultra Galaxy S model will maintain the same shape and features as the Galaxy Note, like the Ultra Galaxy S22 released in 2022.
In terms of features, it basically means that the Ultra Galaxy model will continue to bring S-Pen in its body. The design changes began with the Galaxy S22 Ultra this year, in contrast to the previous Galaxy S21 Ultra Generation, which did not have space for the stylus in it. The same ultra-big phone distinguishes itself from the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ with its boxier design, similar to the latest Galaxy Note model. Whether the design will remain in the future is still unknown, but the right appearance of the Galaxy Note is never a feature that determines it.
This news, if confirmed officially, might send mixed feelings to Galaxy Note fans. On the one hand, they will feel relieved that S Pen does not go anywhere, at least not. On the other hand, the brand loved by professionals and creatives finally retired after almost a decade of service. This step will at least help consolidate the Samsung Galaxy S brand and even make S-Pen the mainstay of its mainstay-hope, at least it will remain like that for years to come.
