Rafale Jets To Be Deployed For First Time In Air Force’s Overseas Exercise

India will set up 4 Rafale jets, C-17 plane and IL-seventy eight mid-air refuellers for a almost three-week multinational air workout at France`s Mont-de-Marsan navy base.
It could be the primary foreign places workout for the Indian Air Force’s Rafale jets.

The contingent of the Indian Air Force will go away for France on Friday.

“An Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent could be departing the next day for France to take part in Exercise Orion at Mont-de-Marsan,” the IAF stated.

“The workout could be performed from April 17 to May five with the IAF contingent comprising 4 Rafale jets, C-17, ll-seventy eight plane and one hundred sixty five air warriors.

Besides the IAF and the French Air and Space Force (FASF), the workout could be participated via way of means of air forces from Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain and the United States.

“Participation on this workout could similarly increase the employment philosophy of the India Air Force, via way of means of imbibing the quality practices from different Air Forces,” the IAF stated in a statement.
