Edens Zero is an original Japanese anime series whose licensed internationally by J.C. Staff and is an adaptation of the manga series with the same name by the author Hiro Mashima. Many fans will recognize different Mashima artwork, the most famous for creating fairy tail.
What is the renewal status of Edens Zero?
As soon as the final episode of season 1 was aired in Japan, on October 2, the official Twitter account for Anime announced the news in the tweet that “Shiki’s adventure will continue.”
Unfortunately the news was also followed up with the tragic announcement that the Yūshi Suzuki series anime director had died. It is not clear how Suzuki passes the impact of season 2 production, but we know that more episodes will arrive in the near future.
On February 8, JC staff confirmed through the official twitter anime that the second season was officially in production.
How many manga chapters will the second season of Edens Zero cover?
Crossing twenty-five episodes of the first season, about 68 manga chapters covered.

What can we expect to see from the second season of Edens Zero?
After leaving Granbell Kingdom Home, Shiki has made a handful of friends through his adventure with Rebecca and happy. Now the legitimate captain and the owner of Edens Zero’s spacecraft, to return the ship to Shiki’s full strength has recruited the hermit, and after passing Valkyrie, Homura has risen to take the position of his former master on the ship.
Now the four shining stars have been assembled by Shiki and the Edens Zero crew can finally start a trip outside Sakura Cosmos. However, dangerous enemies are chasing, Drakken Joe and the fortress of a giant room, gore buy!
How many more seasons can we expect of Edens Zero?
At the time of writing, there are currently 171 chapters of manga published, which only lacks 60+ chapters that we expect from every season. However, the manga is still ongoing and during the second season it has ended, there will be dozens of more chapters published. This means at least we will hope to see at least the third and fourth season of Edens zero.
When is the Edens Zero season 2 Netflix release date?
With J.C. Recent staff confirmed that Edens Zero is now in production, we can have a few more months from the return of anime.
It must be noted that the anime will first be broadcast in Japan before finally arriving at Netflix. Streaming services have increased in recent months by releasing a weekly episode of the Blue period and Komi cannot communicate, however, there is no guarantee that Edens Zero Season 2 will follow.
For now, we have to wait patiently for the series to return. Hopefully, we will see the anime back around 2022.
