“By buying land, or home, it’s always about falling in love at first glance,” said the homeowner. “I am a typical man from Mumbai, and is very familiar with the wall,” So when he came to this plot just about two kilometers from the River Ulhas, he immediately fell in love with the mango tree, the abundant sunlight and the sound of the nearby river made him Occurs. “Homeowner – who prefers to remain unnamed – has also been looking to expand his family, but it doesn’t have to be with human members. “This room has given us three cows, five rooster and several other birds who like to flock here,” he said happily.
Designing the house
The work of designing a house crashed into Nishita Kamdar, the studio based on Mumbai Ewonymous has established a store only the previous year, in 2014. “As a young architect, I am happy. It was my first architecture project, and the fact that the client trusted me blindly, with His own, very exciting – and humbling. “Nishita said. It also helps him and the homeowner be on the same page as far as aesthetics – and maybe more importantly, the spirit of round-away.
With this poetic line at hand, Studio Nishita began working at home in 2016. On a 1.5-acre plot, the house took only 5,500 square feet. “The main design meaning is to offer residents blocked from outside of anywhere at home,” said Nishita. This is realized as a slim, the 100-foot-length box is located in the shade of the trees in place. The house also opens from both parties, “so it doesn’t become a typical front, or return,” architect added. Instead of solid walls, in many places, architects used steel-framed glass doors which rotated 90 degrees to open completely. The glass door provided the perfect setting for doing it ‘stand and looked’, but their mobility provided home additional advantages. “I was originally worried about having open, layout flowing like free,” said homeowners, added, “But because of this openness and orientation, there is constant, abundant winds blowing throughout the room – it’s almost like a tunnel wind!” Courtesy this feature, They have never been needed to use air conditioners, not even during the peak summer. Large glass doors, in addition to blurring the lines between the room and outdoors, carrying a lot of light, and eliminating the need for artificial lighting to sunset. “The results of energy consumption are very low for The house, which makes it even more sustainable, “said the homeowner.
Due to home settlement in 2017, the family had come down from Mumbai for almost all of their weekends. “We love to spend time here because it is close to nature and inviting in the fresh air and light, which is the luxury we lack in the city,” said the owner of the house. Their days here usually start with tea on the terrace on the east side where they watch the sunrise. “The room is ideal for sipping hot chai cup and listens to birds,” said the homeowner. They followed up on a relaxing walk on the streets of Nishita who were built around the extensive lawn, then tend to be livestock. “We turned our cow’s milk and animal,” he added with Glee like a child.
The wide open living room pushed a lot of pre-lunch lazing and looked at agricultural land and the hills outside, posted those collected by the family at the dining table for lunch. The dining room sits in the shade of the biggest mango trees on the site, and belongs to a steel-framed glass door that can move, it is possible to open it almost entirely into the wild. At night it is usually spent on verandah open, where homeowners listen to music, or enter the Carrom competition enthusiastic with their two daughters.
